Although KI is available as open source, users outside of the WTF cannot run it as-is due to hardcoded names or images. Everyone would need to create their own fork of at least the frontend.

The following things should be made configurable:

  • logo in the navbar
  • website title
  • "Finde WTF Member" above the search bar
  • profile section headers
  • skill examples / placeholders
  • links in the footer for imprint and privacy policy

The logo in the footer could be replaced by the classic "Made with <3 by ..." or something more original.
